Clifford Bordeaux practices primarily in the areas of bankruptcy, transactional, estate planning and trust administration.

Cliff received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1993 and his JD from the UCLA School of Law in 1997. 

In 2008, Cliff formed Bordeaux Law, P.C. and began focusing on bankruptcy and debt settlement matters. 

Since starting the firm, Cliff has represented individual clients in confirming plans in over 200 individual chapter 13  bankruptcy cases, and in obtaining discharges in over 500 individual chapter 7 cases.  Cliff has also represented debtors, creditors, plaintiffs and defendants in chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, debt settlement matters, bankruptcy adversary proceedings and other contested matters in bankruptcy court.  In 2013, Cliff was certified by the State Bar of California as a Certified Specialist in bankruptcy law.

Prior to starting the firm, Cliff was associated with The Law Offices of James F. Miller, a boutique estate planning and trust administration firm in Pasadena.  Before that, Cliff started his career working primarily on business transactional matters, both as an associate attorney at a small firm in Pasadena, and as the sole in house counsel to Net Asset Management, a start-up investment advisory company that was later acquired by Envestnet, Inc., a NYSE-listed investment advisory firm.

In 2018, while maintaining his practice, Cliff returned to The Law Offices of James F. Miller as Of Counsel.  In this role, Cliff now assists Mr. Miller's clients with a broad range of business transactions, estate planning and trust administration matters, while at the same time maintaining his bankruptcy practice. 

With his extensive experience in planning and implementing business purchases and sales, forming and dissolving business entities, and representing clients in real estate transactions, trust administration and estate planning, Cliff brings a breadth and depth of relevant knowledge and experience of trust, corporate, and real estate law to his bankruptcy practice.
